BS5609 is a recognized British standard for pressure-sensitive labels that are applied to dangerous goods transported by sea.
BS5609 Part II
Section two rates the performance of self-adhesive laminates in terms of sea immersion, dimensional stability, adhesion, artificial weathering, temperature cycling and color fastness. Section three relates to the durability of label printing.

- UL02B – POLYESTER SILVER / RC18 / 2.4 mil HIGH DENSITY WHITE
- UL03C – PET MATT SILVER TC 50 / RC 18 / HD 75 WHITE
