The converter recognized an opportunity to deliver such service when a brand was struggling with label performance. Through their partnership with UPM Raflatac, Catapult was able to address the brand’s label application challenges by switching to a label stock with a robust adhesive, RH18.

This included a laminate with a unique hotmelt adhesive, RH18. UPM Raflatac’s RH18 provided the needed adhesion to ensure that the juice label performs during application and in the grocer’s cooler. “The beverage industry is an ideal application for our RH18 hotmelt adhesive,” says Jason Hellman, Segment Manager, Specials SBU at UPM Raflatac. “It is especially effective for refrigerated applications where the surface is moist or if high initial adhesion is required.”

For Catapult, quality product isn’t everything.
