All surgical instruments are cleaned and wrapped before steam-autoclave sterilization. A variety of wrapping materials are used in hospitals, and all packs are individually labeled for identification and traceability. When you need a label that stands up to the extremes of sterilization by steam autoclaving, our RP3H adhesive is the optimum choice.
RP3H retains excellent adhesion in the steam, pressure, and heat of the autoclave process without the use of additional sealing tape to secure label adhesion. The adhesive accommodates swelling and shrinkage of various wrapping materials during and after processing.
Our label face materials backed with the RP3H adhesive support long-lasting, legible print during sterilization and remain reliable for the entire shelf life of sterile-wrapped re-usable surgical instruments. They also have good thermal transfer (TTR) printing properties.
