Intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) are commonly used for the transport and storage of bulk liquid and granulated substances, such as chemicals and solvents. They have a large capacity, typically 1000 liters, and are usually formed of HDPE plastic with a flat, stainless steel plate on the container cage carrying the label. This smooth, polar surface is relatively straightforward from the perspective of label adhesion.
For short-term use under covered storage, coated paper label faces may provide adequate functionality. If there will be extended outdoor storage or transportation, we recommend a filmic face material, or a synthetic paper for even greater resilience.
