UPM Raflatac launches global Rafsec Gen2 RFID tags and inlays

7/18/2006

(UPM Raflatac, Tampere, July 17, 2006) - UPM Raflatac, a leading RFID tag and inlay manufacturer announces the launch of the global Rafsec Gen2 product range. The groundbreaking Rafsec Gen2 products can be used globally with their unique broadband capabilities.

The broadband RFID antenna design enables end-users to reach and sustain consistently high levels of performance in all UHF frequency regions around the globe with the same tag, regardless of the local frequency regulations. This represents critical competitive and logistical advantages for any fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company with manufacturing, distribution and customer locations in different parts of the world. The same RFID tag can be used by the manufacturer, the logistics service provider and the retailer, to track and identify products accurately and cost-efficiently throughout the supply chain. Please visit the Gen2 campaign website for more information www.upmraflatac.com/rfidleague.
