All roads lead to service: Raflatac at Labelexpo Americas 2002
8/16/2002Raflatac’s Marketing Manager, Malcolm Collins, states, “This year, Labelexpo of the Americas will provide us with a tremendous opportunity. We’ll have a year of manufacturing in our new facility behind us, and by September our impact on the North American pressure sensitive labeling sector will be a significant one.”
The new factory in Fletcher includes the installation of a proprietary automated production system, designed by a team of the company’s inventory and application-technology specialists. The custom-designed machinery, coupled with a sophisticated logistics system, highly automated finishing techniques, new auto-handling systems, and customized order flow, yield a consistent high-quality product while ensuring minimum delivery times.
The central corporate message Raflatac will present to attendees in Chicago this fall will be defined by the company’s commitment to customer service. As converters increasingly face new production challenges and tougher label requirements from their own customers, Raflatac’s expanding presence in North America offers label printers a range of high-quality pressure sensitive products able to meet the changing demands of today’s market. Raflatac’s Customer Service Manager, Vicki Snead, comments, “The foundation of our service program in the US is the Raflatouch, which takes us from being just another supplier to functioning as a fully integrated component of a label converter’s production standards. It’s almost like each customer has a team of Raflatac personnel on their production floor. Labelexpo will be a very important show for us this year. It will give us the opportunity to meet with customers and prospects face to face, and to let them know exactly how we can add the Raflatouch to their businesses.
