Raflatac introduces new Kromekote® Extragloss

Raflatac announces new Kromekote® Extragloss pressure sensitive labelstock, offering the label printer a flexible substrate for applications requiring superior graphics quality when on-the-shelf product differentiation is a key factor.

This 6.3 mil material construction combines Kromekote® extra gloss facestock with Raflatac's trademark RP51 permanent adhesive and a 2.5 mil kraft liner. Kromekote® Extragloss offers a whiter, higher-gloss product with a smoother print surface compared to other cast-coated products. In addition, Kromekote® yields a better overall printed-image quality particularly in challenging applications like high-screen four color process, and tight, difficult to hold vignettes. A richer, deeper 'wet' appearance is achievable with Kromekote® Extraglosss, as well as improved print contrast.

Raflatac's proprietary RP51 permanent adhesive offers excellent UV resistance, strong low-temperature performance and excellent adhesion characteristics to non-polar substrates. Kromekote® Extragloss is suitable for a wide range of print processes including water-based and UV flexo, screen, rotogravure and hot foil stamping and embossing.
