UPM Raflatac present at Label Summit Latin America

UPM Raflatac is exhibiting at this year's Label Summit Latin America to promote its pressure sensitive labelstock product offering and its HF and UHF RFID product range. The Summit is being held May 15 -16 in São Paulo, Brazil.

UPM Raflatac's Sales Director for Latin America, Javier Palomares is presenting on "Self-Adhesive Labeling Solutions and Growth Opportunities in Latin America." Mr. Palomares' presentation discusses the changing requirements in the prime label markets and key markets for PS applications, key novel fast-growing applications including color-printed variable information labels and expanded-content labels as well as opportunities for label converters in RFID.

UPM Raflatac's Sales & Marketing Director, Americas, RFID, Jan Svoboda, is participating in a panel discussion on "Winning Strategies for Smart Labels/RFID: Global Standards & Competing Internationally." The panel discusses the key standards for Latin America, the US and worldwide regarding Gen2, HF and UHF, the main opportunities for RFID in Latin America and working with retailers and brand manufacturers.
