Raflatac Launches New Factory in South Africa

3/26/2001

Raflatac’s new fully-fledged factory has officially been launched in South Africa on March 23 with the opening of a production facility in Pinetown, Durban.

Raflatac also has sales and distribution terminals in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. The company’s products already hold an established position in the local market, having been distributed and sold in South Africa for the last seven years.

Plans for Raflatac South Africa got underway early in 2000 when Raflatac signed a contract with South African Polifin Ltd in May 2000 to acquire the business operations of its subsidiary Vynide, a manufacturer of specialized synthetic self-adhesive laminate. General Manager Ken Steyn is responsible for Raflatac’s operations in South Africa.
