Retail Information Labeling
There are two major end-use areas in retail information labeling:
Price marking
- Labels printed in one or two colors
- Variable information printing (VIP) techniques
- No need for high environmental resistance
Weigh scale applications
Direct thermal printing on pre-printed labels:
- Labels printed in one or two colors
- Labels are usually pre-printed and die-cut using Chemical Thermal or Thermal Transfer labelstock
- To add variable information to food products, these labels pass through a weighing, and generally, a direct thermal printer system
Direct Thermal Eco face paper is an excellent choice for bakery applications, while Direct Thermal Premium Eco has improved resistance to moisture and oils, making it an exceptional contender for in-store applications like deli and meat labeling.
Additionally, Direct Thermal Top and Direct Thermal Top HS products and Syn-Thermal films meet the rigors of pre-packaged applications such as frozen foods and case-level labeling applications.
