REWE
The German REWE Group is one of Europe’s biggest retailers with more than 11,500 shops and 195,000 full-time employees. REWE started an extensive pallet-level RFID pilot at its Norderstedt distribution centre in Germany in December 2005. There were around 30 suppliers involved in the pilot’s first phase. The Rafsec UHF Gen2 inlays used in the pilot were provided by UPM Raflatac.
