Turn waste into a resource
Using raw materials efficiently is one of the biggest challenges facing the label industry. UPM Raflatac’s goal is to minimize solid waste and maximize the reuse of raw materials.
Ensure responsible sourcing
UPM Raflatac purchases raw materials from suppliers all over the world. To ensure responsible sourcing, we have developed a framework that is based on the company’s code of conduct and corporate responsibility principles. In our day to day work, our emphasis on using materials effectively is demonstrated by our continual efforts to improve operational performance.
Choose from a wide range of forest-certified label products
UPM Raflatac’s chain-of-custody system tracks certified material from the forest to the final label construction. It provides third-party verification that the wood used in labeling products originates from responsibly managed forests. UPM takes part in all major forest certification programs, including FSC® and PEFC™. Follow the chain of custody for forest products.
