La frecuencia utilizada para sistemas RFID de frecuencia ultra alta (UHF) varía entre 860 y 960 MHz. Los sistemas UHF RFID operan a 915 MHz en Estados Unidos y a 868 MHz en Europa. Los sistemas UHF RFID se están utilizando mucho debido a los requisitos RFID de las grandes compañías, inclusive detallistas internacionales y el Ministerio Estadounidense de Defensa. Además de aplicaciones al detalle, los sistemas UHF se utilizan en varias aplicaciones de gestión de la cadena de suministro.

- Wet inlay: inserción pre-cortada con adhesivo, frontal fílmico

- FCC: 902 - 928 MHz
- ETSI: 868 MHz
- Japan: 950 MHz
