Jimei University Library
In January 2006, UPM Raflatac entered into an agreement with Shanghai RFID System Technology Co. Ltd. to deliver Rafsec library tags to Jimei University Library in Xiamen, China. The agreement covered the delivery of 300,000 RFID tags. A high level of customer satisfaction means that UPM Raflatac is to deliver another 300,000 Rafsec tags for the second phase including further RFID implementations in other libraries on the campus. The Jimei University Library RFID project is the first large-scale implementation of RFID in China.
