Dixon factory opening in the US a success for UPM Raflatac

UPM Raflatac celebrated the official opening of its new, state-of-the-art factory in Dixon, Illinois, USA on Thursday, April 3, 2008. The ceremony was attended by several hundred participants, including customers, trade press, local officials and suppliers. The event proved a success in solidifying UPM Raflatac's commitment to the vital Midwest marketplace.
The opening, which included speeches and an official ribbon cutting ceremony, was followed by factory tours, an RFID demonstration and a presentation of the company's sustainability initiatives.
The Dixon factory offers UPM Raflatac’s full range of paper and film labelstock products and boasts proprietary advances in automation and coating and finishing technologies.
