Labelexpo Asia bigger than ever

UPM Raflatac was present at Labelexpo Asia 2007 in Shanghai, China with its biggest stand yet. The three-day event, now organized for the third time, has grown year by year, attracting increasing numbers of exhibitors and visitors.

UPM Raflatac's theme at Labelexpo Asia was ‘The Label for a New Era’. The theme highlights the company's expanding production capacity, industry-leading supply chain and increasingly diverse product range for the Asian market.

At the show, UPM Raflatac's focus was on the US$40 million label materials factory that started operations in spring 2007 in Changshu, China and the benefits it provides to customers. The factory offers customers an extended product range including label materials with UPM Raflatac’s proprietary removable adhesives. In addition to paper products, the factory produces film label materials, which are gaining popularity throughout Asia.
