Laminate curling when the face is over printed with water based ink, in water flexo for example
Cause |
|
External dampness (water in the ink) and drying easily causes curling in the cross direction. |
 |
Action |
|
-Raflatac recommends that you use ready pulp-dyed papers like a Jetgreen, Jetred, Jetblue, and Jetlemon.
-Raster-type print gives better flay flat properties, because small holes allow water to escape from the fibres.
-Please try to minimize the drying of the printed face
-Please contact your ink supplier for more suitable ink for this kind of product. |
