Starting with looks, excellent clarity due to high transparency and thinness (56 microns) makes Raflex Plus every bit the aesthetic equal of PP and ideal for the no-label look. The same material has exceptional printability for a fine print resolution, thanks to our own topcoat development. That’s the best of PP and PE in a single product!
In terms of functionality, trouble-free die-cutting and dispensing is provided by good stiffness optimized for label sizes typical in personal care. What’s more, good conformability and squeezability on curved PE bottles puts Raflex Plus on a level superior to PP and as close as it gets to PE.
Productivity for the highest expectations
Raflex Plus also offers better productivity compared to thicker materials used in personal care like PE 85. A longer reel length in the same diameter means more labels per reel, resulting in fewer reel changes, a reduction in waste during conversion, and higher average productivity.
Finally, less waste from start to finish and a reduction in reel and coil transport for the same number of labels makes Raflex Plus a more environmentally friendly option. And that’s how we beat the challenge.
