Raflatac Film Festival in Russia
8.11.2005Raflatac arranged a Film Festival event to the company's customers and end-users in Moscow, Russia on October 11, 2005. Held in the Cinema Theater-Club 'Fitil', the festival was devoted to Raflatac's filmic products.
"Our goal was to bring together the Russian label converters and end-users who deal with products for pressure sensitive film applications", says Dmitrij Strechin, Senior Representative, Reel and Sheetstock Business for Raflatac Moscow. "At the same time, we took the opportunity to promote our new filmic offering available in Russia."
The Film Festival was opened by Erkki Högel, Area Sales Director, presenting Raflatac as the company is today. After the opening, the festival featured presentations by Jan Hasselblatt, Director of Standard Films Business, and Paavo Sillanpää, Director of Special Business & End-Use Marketing, focusing on current filmics trends, Raflatac's Standard Films offering and the end-uses of filmic materials. Also the possibilities for the customer to benefit from cooperation with Raflatac was discussed. Raflatac’s commitment to the chosen strategy of aggressive growth in films was stressed, as well as the investment to double the company’s films capacity in Finland, which is important for the Russian customers. New brochures and product cards in Russian were distributed. The evening programme ended with a festive banquet.
Almost 100 attendees from Russia and its neighbouring countries took part in the event, which took place concurrently with the Polygraph Inter exhibition held in Moscow on October 10-16, 2005.
