Strong presence at Pakex 2001

Raflatac Ltd, Scarborough, had a strong local presence at one of the largest international packaging exhibitions of its kind, held at the Birmingham NEC on 2–6 April 2001.

Spread over five halls and with 1,168 exhibitors, Pakex 2001 opened its doors to over 30,000 visitors, 20 per cent of which were from overseas, representing 34 countries. The theme of the show was supply chain management, with an emphasis placed on the importance of cooperation between all parties. The exhibition set out to demonstrate that by sharing information, companies can benefit from the synergy of joint innovation.

One of the market leaders supplying self-adhesive paper-based and synthetic labelstock in Europe, Raflatac demonstrated its commitment to "Setting New Standards" in the industry. Raflatac’s stand focused on providing information about applications for the packaging industry, with expert advice available to designers, packaging technologists, printers and converters of self-adhesive labelstock. On-line demonstrations of Raflatac's Service Line and Business Line highlighted the company's commitment to e-Business solutions.
