New Raflasilk for plenty of uses

Raflasilk, known as a high-class self-adhesive paper for product labels, is also a versatile material for information labelling.

The universal Raflasilk covers a vast number of different end-use areas, from food packages to the labelling needs of industry. The renewed Raflasilk is the only 85-gram self-adhesive paper on the market. Its appearance is smoother and glossier than before - a highly appropriate material for high-class label printing.

Thanks to its versatile properties, Raflasilk is suitable for printing with a combination of printing methods. For example, in addition to a high-quality four-colour image, the best before markings can be printed on the label using thermal transfer.

Raflasilk sets the way
"We believe that Raflasilk sets the way for industry. We are able to offer a higher- quality product and cost savings at the same time," says Product Manager Neil Holliday.

"From a label-printing house's point of view, Raflasilk is a highly cost-efficient material. Due to its printing properties, proportionally less ink is required. However, the most significant financial benefit results from Raflasilk's versatility because a printing house can utilize it in a very large proportion of applications. This makes specification easier and ensures a smooth production process."

Versatility also means environmental friendliness: waste resulting from a change of material in the production process can be reduced.
