Upgrade in efficiency with pharma labelstocks on the PET30 liner

We’ve introduced several new pharmaceutical labelstocks which combine paper label faces with a 30-micron PET liner – providing significant efficiency and performance improvements over glassine liners.

Opting for a PET liner yields more labels on every roll reducing downtime spent changing rolls on presses and filling lines. It’s also a more productive choice for high-speed filling – handling up to 600 units a minute.

Another benefit of PET is that it helps generate 100% camera inspection rates, preventing stops during printing; this is because it doesn’t have the visual irregularities of glassine which can show through thin paper faces. 

PET also produces less dust, improving cleanliness on printing and production lines as well as benefitting clean-room conditions.
 
The PET30 liner is now available with our Pharmagloss, Pharmamatt and Pharmalite paper label faces and the RP 31 and RP 31 Purus pharmaceutical adhesives. See the full product chart for Pharmaceutical and Health Care labelling.
