Great ideas implemented with Transfer Adhesives
The simplest ideas are the best: Apply adhesive patches onto non-self-adhesive substrates for end-users to use as they wish. We have four liner/adhesive/liner sandwich constructions ready to go, giving you the option to tailor your own product with our new Transfer Adhesive packages.
These constructions convert at high speed and minimize adhesive residue on the press rollers.
The converter removes the top liner and applies the remaining liner with adhesive onto the non-self-adhesive substrate. The end-user removes the second paper or clear film liner to reveal the adhesive and permanently apply to their own items.
A double film construction optimizes clarity for pre-printing under the adhesive.

Available ex-coater and customized
It’s possible to use almost all UPM Raflatac permanent adhesives depending on your requirements, including pattern gumming with higher coat-weights. If you need a custom solution engineered for a particular end-use, the people at UPM Raflatac Technical Sales will be pleased to hear from you.
To cover most applications, four Transfer Adhesive combinations are available ex-coater with Minimum Order Quantities starting from 1,000 m²:
