Direct food labeling also applies to a diverse range of requirements, including ambient-temperature or chilled storage, smooth or rough surfaces, and dry or wet conditions.
Labels that fall into this category are either placed directly onto foods, such as fruit brand labels or weigh-scale labels, or onto packaging that must meet direct food-contact requirements, such as packaging with thin barriers or micro perforations.

For labels directly applied to dry, non-fatty foods, we have several high-quality food-grade adhesives to choose from, including RP51, RP48, 149DF, RH5F, RH6, RH9X, RH1, and RP37.
On greasy or fatty foods, you need high-performance, fat-resistant adhesives like RP36 ML, RP36 FG, or 149DF.
All our adhesives intended for direct food contact can be combined with a choice of food-safe paper and, with the exception of RP5X, filmic face materials to create attractive yet functional labels.
