UPM Raflatac at Labelexpo Asia 2009: 10 years of operation in China

Under the theme “Think Label!” at this year’s Labelexpo Asia, UPM Raflatac is showcasing an extensive paper and film labelstock portfolio which matches performance, eco-friendliness and economy with uncompromising quality.

Products for diverse applications
At Labelexpo Asia, UPM Raflatac will highlight innovative new products and services for home and personal care labelling and wine, tyre and other specialist applications, including:

• Raflex Plus, a thin and clear, top-coated polyolefin film that combines the best properties of PP and PE. At 56 microns, Raflex Plus offers good flexibility on squeezable packages. Exceptional printability for a fine print resolution makes this film ideal for high-quality product labels in home and personal care applications.
   
• Wine labelstock with a recyclable PET liner. With higher tensile strength than paper-based liners, film liners deliver better performance in high-speed applications and contribute to a reduction in web breaks and fewer roll changes due to their reduced caliper.
   
• An extensive product range for tyre labelling incorporates paper and film face materials in combination with UPM Raflatac’s RH T adhesive, enabling label printers to meet brand owners’ requirements for cost-efficiency, performance and appearance.
