UPM Raflatac's 'Sustainable Label Technics Seminar' in Guangzhou

On 25 November 2010, UPM Raflatac and its strategic partners gathered in the “Sustainable Label Technics Seminar” at the Phoenix City Hotel in Guangzhou. About twenty end-users and label printers, including Liby, Amway, AVON, Colgate, AAI, C-BONS, Arche, Puyen, participated in the seminar.

Mr Ma Changbao, Sales Director at UPM Raflatac China, gave a speech and a review on UPM Raflatac's 10 years of labelling excellence in China. Mr Ted Qian, Business Development Manager, UPM Raflatac Asia-Pacific, gave a presentation “Think Label - The Trend of Squeeze Label Material in the Future”. He also shared some of the most recent product development. Partners like Dowell and Colamark also presented their products and technologies.

In the afternoon, the seminar participants visited the factories of UPM Raflatac, Dowell and Colamark, witnessing the details of the label making process from raw material to printing and labelling.
