UPM Raflatac present at Label Summit Latin America 2009

At this year's Label Summit Latin America, UPM Raflatac will promote its wide range of labelstock products for demanding industry applications. The company will also reinforce its status as the global number one producer of RFID tags and inlays by showcasing its comprehensive HF and UHF RFID product portfolio.

A commitment to the Brasilian market

During the exhibition, UPM Raflatac will also show how the company's new slitting and distribution terminal in Jaguariúna, Brasil, enables the company to extend its high quality paper and film labelstock product offering to the region and meet the local Brasilian market service and lead-time expectations.

UPM Raflatac's General Manager of the Brasil terminal, Maurício Médici, and Labels & Labeling's Deputy Editor, James Quirk, will be presenting an informative session on recent developments in smart technologies and RFID as well as a case study detailing how companies can make money by employing RFID technology in their business processes. Smart technology and RFID will be held on Wednesday, April 29, from 4:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. 

Label Summit Latin America, which takes place Tuesday, April 28 – Wednesday, April 29, 2009, in Sao Paulo, Brasil, is the premiere event for companies in the Latin American label industry who are looking for ways optimize their current business processes and improve profitability.
